Infineon Technologies Malaysia Sdn Bhd
In January 2014, Mr Lee Cheong Chee was appointed as Managing Director of Infineon Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd where he plays a pivotal role in leading the operations of this back-end assembly and test plant producing semiconductor chips for Automotive, Industrial & Multimarket and Chip card & Security applications as well as continuous improvement. Prior to joining Infineon, he served as the General Manager in Seremban NXP from April 2012 to 2014. Beginning 1988, Mr Lee started his career path at National Semiconductor (M) Sdn Bhd where he held a variety of increasingly responsible positions including a section manager and director. In 2004, he was relocated to Suzhou plant as the Director of Operation, heading the new plant entire operations from wafer sort, assembly to final test. Under his leadership, TS 16949 and ISO 14001 certification was successfully obtained. After one and the half year, he rose to the position of Managing Director of Suzhou plant, improving the work forces attrition, delivery performance (OSD), plant yield as well as overall ESH awareness and compliance. Upon returning to Malaysia in 2009, he was appointed to be the Vice President & Managing Director of Melaka plant, where he held key positions in taking the lead of the overall backend operations and site. Following the spin-off to National Semiconductor (M) Sdn Bhd in September 2011, Mr Lee served as the Site Managing Director of Texas Instruments (TI) Sdn Bhd.
